She's The First Climate justice Rally
We loved participating in She's the First's Week of Action as Action Partners for Climate Justice through The World With MNR, and shared ways young people can make a difference for the planet during their Climate Action Rally.
Young Women Lead Live
We had the honour of speaking at 2 Young Women Lead events for more than 1,000 girls across the United States! We spoke alongside so many other inspiring women including Julie Carrier, Monique Coleman, Kimberly Clayton-Code, and Sally Schott, our moderator Paola, and young student leaders!
GPE Webinar on Girls' Education and COVID-19
We moderated a webinar with the Global Partnership for Education on girls' education and COVID-19, with GPE's CEO Alice Albright, Denmark's Minister for Development Cooperation Rasmus Prehn, Norway's State Secretary for International Development Aksel Jacobsen and Sierra Leone's Education Minister David Moinina Sengeh, alongside amazing youth activists including Sonita Alizadeh, Aya Chebbi and Mohamed Sidibay.
DFID UK and UNICEF ROSA Office Knowledge Exchange Event Series
We were honoured to moderate and participate in the UN Girls' Education Initiative's segment during the first Session of “Leave No Girl Behind: Education Alternatives, Tackling Violence and Changing Norms: A South Asian Regional Knowledge Exchange Event Series”. The series is organized and hosted by the UK Development Office, Girls Education Challenge (GEC) and UNICEF's Regional Office South Asia.
Workshop at Intrepid Museum's Virtual Youth Summit
We hosted a workshop for the Intrepid Museum in New York called: “Let Your Light Shine: Following Your Dreams While Positively Changing the World”. We shared our journey, call to action, and message for how our workshop participants can also make their dreams come true.
#17For17 Sisters in solidarity: Global Visions, Activist Realities
We moderated a dialogue: Sisters in Solidarity: Global Visions, Activist Realities, with the UN Girls' Education Initiative as part of Jana Amin’s #17for17 Birthday event alongside other amazing speakers. We interviewed Nora Fyles, Head of Secretariat for UNGEI, Wadi Ben-Hirki, Founder of the Wadi Ben-Hirki Foundation, and Mariana Anaya, Co-Founder of Girl Up Paris and Girl Up Monterrey.
UNGEI Dialogue 2
We moderated another dialogue with the UN Girls' Education Initiative and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), titled COVID-19 and Girls' Education: A Tale of Two Futures. It featured former Australian Prime Minister and board chair of GPE Julia Gillard, and Baroness Sugg, Minister for the UK’s International Development and the Foreign Office, and the UK’s special envoy for girls’ education. Finally, there were some incredible girl advocates from around the world who participated in the discussion.
Ungei Dialogue 1
Honoured to have moderated the UN Girls' Education Initiative (UNGEI) “In Solidarity With Girls” Dialogue today, discussing how we can rebuild the ‘new normal’ in education post COVID-19. We were joined by Anne-Birgitte Albrectsen, CEO of Plan International, and powerful young women activists representing organizations worldwide!
Girl Talk: Virtual
Panel Series
We joined the United Nations Foundation's Girl Up Campaign for their first ever Girl Talk virtual panel titled Gender Equality: A Movement not a Moment with some other amazing panelists from around the world. We discussed ways to stay engaged in your communities & level up your leadership skills online.

Summit 2019
We had such a pleasure interviewing the very inspiring Ambassador Melanne Verveer at the United Nations Foundation's Girl Up Campaign's Leadership Summit. We spoke about the importance of including girls and women in conversations of peace and conflict resolution, her own work as the US Ambassador for Global Women’s Issues, and much more.
