About
The Disney Dream Big, Princess Project is a collaboration between Disney and the UN Girl Up Campaign to empower young, female filmmakers and make their dreams come true. 21 young girls from 13 different countries were selected to be filmmakers in this project, and create digital short-films, to be shared on social media with the #DreamBigPrincess. Each video featured an inspiring woman from different fields, who the girls interviewed in different shoot locations from their countries. From October 10–November 20, 2018, for each like or share of a public video or photo with #DreamBigPrincess on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, Disney will donate $1 to Girl Up, the United Nations Foundation’s initiative supporting girls’ leadership and empowerment, up to $1 million!
From The World With MNR, Founders Maryam and Nivaal, along with two content creators who are part of our Youth Activism Program Mariana and Maud, were selected to be filmmakers in this series!
