The Future of India through the Eyes of a Young Citizen

India enjoys a great diversity which can be understood by the fact that the country recognizes 22 official languages. India also has a very rich culture which can be seen from the many festivals celebrated here. I live in the south of India in the city of Bangalore which is also known as the "Silicon Valley" of India and is one of the busiest cities in India.  I think one of the biggest changes I would like to see in my country is abolishing child labor, it is something I see almost everyday in my life and no child deserves to spend their childhood working. The other change I would like to see, is once again related to the first point - Poverty. The rich keep getting richer, the poor keep getting poorer and there is an ever increasing gap between them. Poverty is something that is a root cause for many other problems. These hinder the growth of India and coming up with a solution for these problems, is in the hands of Indian youth. By creating employment opportunities for the young people in India, they can help reduce poverty. This is the root cause of many other problems, and once it is solved, can help India achieve its true potential.
